Ultra-Precision Machining Capabilities

Sanluo Precision Machining Factory achieves micron-level accuracy in its aerospace ultra-precision machining capabilities. Our facility is equipped with slow-feed wire-cut EDM machines capable of ±0.001 mm precision, precision cylindrical grinders achieving a roundness of 0.0003 mm, and ultra-precision lathes capable of producing surface finishes with a roughness of Ra 0.05 μm. For ultra-precision components—such as optical assemblies, gyroscope parts, and precision bearings—we employ advanced processes including diamond turning, mirror grinding, and ultrasonic-assisted machining to achieve machining accuracies at the micron or even sub-micron level. Aerospace precision machining imposes rigorous quality standards on materials and presents unique manufacturing challenges, particularly when dealing with difficult-to-machine materials: molybdenum alloys (high melting point), beryllium copper alloys (high thermal conductivity), titanium alloys (difficult to cut), and ceramic-matrix composites (high brittleness). Based on the specific characteristics of each material, we have established specialized machining process databases; by optimizing cutting parameters, tool geometries, and cooling/lubrication strategies, we have successfully resolved technical challenges such as work hardening, tool wear, and part deformation.

As a specialized manufacturer of aerospace precision-machined components, Sanluo Precision operates a Class 1000 cleanroom facility equipped with advanced air purification systems and anti-static safeguards. Operators adhere to strict protocols by wearing dust-proof cleanroom attire, while finished workpieces are stored in vacuum-sealed packaging. The machining process utilizes ultra-pure water as a coolant, thereby eliminating the risk of contamination associated with conventional cutting fluids. Regarding metrology and inspection assurance, the facility is outfitted with a comprehensive suite of precision testing instruments—including form testers, surface roughness profilometers, and laser interferometers—ensuring measurement accuracy that meets Grade 1 standards. Every precision-machined component undergoes a rigorous 100% full inspection, supplemented by independent sampling inspections and certification conducted by third-party metrology organizations. We provide comprehensive inspection reports covering geometric dimensions, form and position tolerances, surface quality, and material properties. To date, we have successfully completed customized aerospace precision machining services for numerous projects.
