Sanluo Precision’s facing machining is a process for processing the end plane of parts. Face turning is clamped by three-jaw chuck and processed by face turning tool, with turning speed 500-2000rpm, feed rate 0.1-0.5mm/r, cutting depth 0.5-3mm; rough turning leaves allowance 0.5mm, finish turning single side 0.1-0.2mm. Strict quality control: flatness detection (height difference measured by dial gauge with flat plate, CMM accuracy 0.003mm, large plane measured by laser interferometer); perpendicularity (right-angle ruler against end face outer circle, gap measured by feeler gauge, angle deviation measured by CMM); parallelism detection (dial gauge at one end, rotate workpiece to measure runout); roughness meter to measure Ra value (≥5 detection points to take average); visual inspection for tool marks, scratches, burrs; process guarantee (sharp tools, reasonable parameters, sufficient cooling, rigid clamping).
