Micro Cutting Technology

The micro laser cutting technology adopted by Sanluo Precision's processing plant uses high-energy laser beams to cut tiny parts. Cutting principle: The focused laser beam scans along a set trajectory, melting and vaporizing the material instantaneously to form cutting seams. Non-contact processing: The laser has no physical contact with the workpiece and causes no mechanical stress, which is suitable for brittle materials and thin-walled parts. Heat-affected zone: <20μm, with minimal material deformation, applicable for heat-sensitive materials.

Cutting Process Optimization

As a professional micro laser cutting manufacturer, Sanluo Precision has refined and optimized its processing techniques. Nitrogen is used as shielding gas to prevent oxidation, ensuring flat and smooth cutting edges; oxygen is applied for combustion supporting to accelerate cutting speed; compressed air is an economical and practical option. Multi-pass cutting is adopted: rough cutting for rapid penetration, and finish cutting to ensure precision and improve surface quality. Profile recognition: CCD visual positioning automatically identifies the workpiece position and compensates for deviations with an accuracy of ±2μm. We provide special-shaped cutting of spring steel sheets, laser cutting of coronary stents for medical implants (tube wall 50~100μm, groove width 30~80μm, burr-free), and laser cutting of nickel-titanium alloy guide wires. For aerospace industry, we realize titanium alloy thin plate cutting (thickness 0.1 - 1mm) with vertical cutting edges without dross, as well as honeycomb structure cutting. Sanluo Precision has provided customized laser beam machining services for enterprises such as Foxconn, BYD, MicroPort Medical and AVIC, processing 2 million parts annually with stable quality and on-time delivery.
